FAQ's

Medals, Medals Medals...

You will get a medal for each event you participate in. There are four to collect... do 4 events...get all 4 medals... do 3 events and get 3 medals... do 2 events and get 2 medals...

When will I get my Race Pack?

You will be notified by email when your race pack is ready for collection from Frontrunner Colombo, this will be before each event takes place - you must collect your race pack before your first event. If you are from out of town - please contact us to make alternative arrangements.

I want to register more than 1 person..is that possible?

Yes, you can register up to 4 people per transaction. You can register for 1, 2, 3 or 4 Events simply by adding them to your cart at check out.

What time should I arrive on the day?

The event will officially open at 6pm but we don't want you to have to hang around unnecessarily if you do not need to so please ensure you are at the start pen entrance no later than 20 minutes before your start time. You will be notified of your start time prior to each race. 

Is it going to be dark?

Yes, these are night events, we will be lighting small portions of the route where needed allowing for route markers and to show any hazards when possible, however the events will mostly be in the natural darkness. Please ensure you are wearing at minimum a head torch as this is mandatory kit and take extra care on the route. 

How will I know what time I completed the walk/run in?

All participants will have a timing chip attached to their race bib. Your time will start when you cross the start line and your time will be recorded when you cross the finish line. These results will be published online immediately.

Will water be provided?

Water will be available for you to top up your water bottles at the half way and finish. Please bring enough water for you to start the route with.

What happens if I need assistance during the event?

Medical support will be on hand at each of the events. Please ensure you pay close attention to the safety briefing which will be made at the start line before each event. The briefing will detail event specific details on how to obtain medical assistance on each route should it be required.

Each event will have a marshaled half way check point and event staff will be able to assist you on the route. A full briefing will be provided at the start of the event.

Will there be food and drinks available?

Yes, we have some fantastic Event Partners who will be there on the day. A warm treat will be provided to participants with spectators being able to purchase food and drink from vendors on site. Participants will be asked to provide dietary requirements at time of registration.

This is my first event, how do I get prepared for it?

A training plan is being provided for participants by one of our fantastic event partners which will assist you in getting event ready. You will find further details in the Participants Area, we will let you know when this is available.

I want to walk and run parts of the event, should I enter as a walker or runner?

If you think you may walk and run parts of the event please register as a runner. Runners and Walkers will set off together.
